welcome
In the year 4000, I3+, the world's highest form of technology, has been hacked by the notorious criminal D.A.. In an attempt to eliminate him and prevent the damage he may cause, the previously incarcerated Syn is employed to find and destroy him. Upon being given the opportunity, Syn escapes, causing unimaginable damage to the network around him and releasing the information necessary for accessing GRID to the general public. At least, the public that is smart enough to see an opportunity and exploit it.

Seeing as you have already entered, you are one of these few.

While reasonably complex, gaining access to GRID is the easiest part of utilizing it. Given powers unimaginable in the human world, GRID is a new beginning, and a means to your own end--no matter what your motives are. Will you be able to shape it to your will, or be eliminated?

stats
While they have not entirely given up their efforts, the JPNF have momentarily backed off their security of GRID in order to create new strategies regarding it's regulation, making it possible for new users to enter almost entirely unnoticed. The flux of incoming data has resulted in an electrical storm in Corruption Chasm, causing some short circuiting and outrages capable of destroying unknowing Bots. It is best to avoid the area if possible.

GRID.
[ ]CORRUPTION CHASM.
The infamous entrance to GRID. A site of massive destruction and broken coding caused by Syn. Still the default access point for all new users, this area is full of glitches, making it a dangerous and unpredictable place. Danger level 3.
130
[ ]DIGITIZED DATABASE.
A location where the vast majority of the private personal information in I3+ has been stored. Useful for espionage or simply messing with other individuals. Danger level 3.
00
[ ]NEUTRAL CITY.
A hacker-agreed neutral city. Located deep within GRID, far from the iron grip and sharp eye of the JPNF, hackers can gather here to test or exchange information. Some shady characters are present and there are no laws, so be ready. Danger level 2.
00
[ ]SURROGATE SHANGHAI.
Corroded and collapsing, this copy of Shanghai City is constantly terrorized by D.A. and Syn's experimentation with their D.I.C.E. Enter at your own risk. Danger level 5.
00
[ ]DATA DESERT.
A barren wasteland of junk data. Useful for escaping the JPNF as their Bots do not seem to function well in these badlands. Some sightings of D.A. and Syn have been reported. Danger level 2.
00
[ ]BEACH.
A basic beach leading to the Data Ocean, pure binary code that has been yet to specify. JPNF Bots do not often visit, due to lag factors. Danger level 1.
18
[ ]ADAMANT ARMORY.
The heavily protected and watched arms storage units of the JPNF. Difficult to penetrate, but worth the effort and rewards of high quality, lethal weaponry and armor. Danger level 4.
00
[ ]RUSTIC RANGE.
A medium-sized, victorian-era influenced advanced combat training range. Modifications have been made, most likely by D.A., to make it seem even more "steampunk" and antique, giving an odd sensation in the digitized world. Danger level 4.
00
[ ]FOREST.
An isolated forest in the middle of nowhere. Difficult for the JPNF to penetrate due to the high density of impermeable code. Danger level 1.
00
[ ]I2+ ARCHIVES.
The old, dusty, broken and forgotten ruins of the outdated and useless I2+ format. However, some useful data remains. Enter with caution as other hackers are looking for information as well. Danger level 3.
14
[ ]BETA BRIDGE.
A long suspension bridge that seemed to have been abandoned in mid-construction. Still in Beta form, it is prone to random glitches and breakage of code, making traversing the bridge a dangerous task. Danger level 4.
